Meet our Team Leaders

Dedicated and Certified

Every teacher at Country Kids Preschool and Childcare is first aid certified, holds a food handlers card, is enrolled in the central background registry, and is fingerprinted. Additionally, each one of our teachers has taken the required courses (RRCAN, Health and Safety Training, and Safe Sleep) set by the office of childcare including an extensive teacher orientation. All of our team members are required to take a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education per year. Above all else, each of our teachers are caring, passionate about teaching, and dedicated to being nurturing professionals!

Owner

Country Kids Preschool and Childcare is owned and operated by Sara Williams.

She opened the first location on Wyeast Avenue in 2002 and successfully opened a second location on Highway 212 in 2019. This location is the first Certified Center in the heart of Damascus!

For the past 21 years Sara has focused on early childhood education, attending countless training courses and seminars dedicated to early childhood development. Having raised her family in Damascus, it brings her so much joy to support the families in her community with the much needed service of quality childcare.

In her free time Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They can be found on their family farm with their dogs, cats, goats, sheep and chickens; or out and about camping, kayaking, and attending her son’s baseball games!

Sara’s favorite children’s book is Stellaluna by Janelle Cannon. This book is actually the namesake of one of the family dogs!
